JOB OPPORTUNITY | Elixir Bartender/Front of House Part-Time Team Member

About Us: We are Durham Region’s first 100% Organic, Cold-Pressed Juice Bar dedicated to natural health and nourishing our loyal customer base. Our customers aren't just visitors, they’re a part of our community, and we’re looking for someone who values these relationships and is excited to contribute to their experience. We offer made-in-house Cold-Pressed Juice, Gluten-Free/Dairy-Free Treats, Smoothies, Hot Elixirs, Espresso Drinks and more (all made from scratch)!
What We’re Looking For: We are looking for an Elixir Bartender/Part-Time Front of House team member who is passionate about offering exceptional customer service and is as excited about crafting organic beverages that not only taste good, but are great for you! A positive attitude, a friendly personality, and the ability to connect with people is key to thriving in this role. If you’re someone who enjoys building relationships with customers and bringing a smile to their day, you’ll fit right in!
We are hiring for a part-time position with the potential for additional hours and growth opportunities. We participate in several events that are external to the shop year-round and two Farmers' Markets from May-October. It would be an asset if you are interested in assisting with these events as well.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm, friendly, and welcoming attitude
- Engage with customers to build relationships and make them feel at home
- Learn about our products so you can recommend and speak confidently about them
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked and organized front-of-house environment
- Operate the smoothie and espresso bar, and prepare elixir hot drinks with care
- Front of House Open and Close Duties
Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in natural health, nutrition, and wellness
- Strong communication, customer service and people skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Previous food service experience is an asset
- A warm, approachable, and positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including weekends. We are closed Mondays.
