Forest is a highly aromatic blend made from hydrosols of spruce, hemlock, pine, and cedar. The experience is like a calming forest frolic through the coniferous woodlands.
Our hydrosols are distilled in small batches using a copper still, with herbs from our garden. Hydrosols are the cellular waters of the plant that encompass the water-soluble properties of the herbs, mingled with a little bit of essential oil that comes naturally through the distillation process.
Hydrosols have benefits as part of a skin care routine. Misted on your face before applying your moisturizer, they help to better pull in oils to more deeply moisturize and hydrate. They have a pH similar to that of the skin, hence helping to balance skin pH. The aromatic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties of the plant come through in these floral waters, which make them well suited to calm inflamed skin and soothing the senses.
HOW TO USE
To use as a face toner, spritz on your skin and apply your moisturizer on still-damp skin. Rejoice in the aromatic sensation of these plants as they soothe and invigorate your senses.
